I know you have all been waiting to hear - who won the annual Top Cat Boule Championship? Patience... Dieppe has, as always, treated us to a wonderful welcome. Anyone would think we were not leaving the EU! The weather has been spectacular, the people even warmer and the food, as ever, has been superb (not withstanding some minor mix ups with last nights fixed priced menus. But that didn’t stop us drinking the restaurant dry in honour of Jeremy’s 60th. Which is I suspect officially the longest birthday celebration in history, with the possible exception of Alison’s. You will be relieved to know that is about all I will be writing today - not because of a loss of verbosity on my part but because the editing tool on the WIX app is a bit crap. I will of course be writing to them! And possibly a little too much wine at the Cafe de Plage at lunchtime. Observed as always by a few incredulous French alcoholics. Though on the plus side you can get a beer in the Boule shed!
