The last day of the voyage has arrived. A mixture of “looking forward to being on land” and sadness at leaving what has been a truly brilliant experience. Breathtaking scenery, friendly people and some very expensive beer!

I would love to claim these two photos were taken at sunrise, but I was still in the land of nod. They were taken last night just outside and in Molde. The weather forecast for the weekend is exceptional, in the true meaning of the word; the Norwegians are saying it is never like this in Bergen at this time of year! So I am looking forward to shorts and t-shirts and spending some time with Nareesa, and I have vowed not to talk her ears off!

So instead of todays blog I have risked a longer article on Hurtigruten. Any insomniacs in need of help out there can read it on the new drop down under the “Articles” tab. I have also put up another long ago written article on the Trans-Siberian Railway I have been threatening to upload for some time. Don't be too unkind!

Nearly in Bergen so bye for now…
(That's in southern Norway, Aussies ;-) x
